Supported Router Models
Kitonga works with any MikroTik router running RouterOS. Popular models include:
- hAP ac² - Great for small to medium locations
- hAP ac³ - Higher capacity with better range
- RB4011 - Enterprise-grade performance
- CCR series - High-capacity commercial use
- RB750Gr3 - Budget-friendly option
RouterOS Version
Minimum required version: RouterOS 6.45
Recommended version: RouterOS 7.x (latest stable)
Network Requirements
- Public IP address (static preferred) or DDNS
- Port 8728 (API) or 8729 (API-SSL) accessible
- Stable internet connection
- Properly configured firewall rules
